IN THE BEGINNING GOD
September 11, 2014
Moses said of the CREATOR:
“In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth. And the earth was without
form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of
God moved upon the face of the waters.”
I like David’s description on how GOD created
the worlds and all that is within them when he said: By the WORD of the Lord were the heavens
made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded,
and it stood fast.” Psalm 33:6, 7 and 9
Yea CHRIST JESUS was the WORD of GOD by whom GOD created the worlds. Hebrews 1:3
And the blessed HOLY GHOST is the Breath of
His Mouth. For on the day of JESUS’ Resurrection John said: And when he had said this, he breathed on
them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:” John 20:22
Therefore, when FATHER GOD said let there
be…His WORD, CHRIST JESUS, and His SPIRIT the blessed HOLY SPIRIT, moved
swiftly and in unison and created all things visible and invisible.
Now pay close attention to this: GOD created
the earth on the first Day of Creation.
But said Moses: He created the sun, moon, stars and planets on day
four. Doesn’t that set at naught: “The
Big Bang Theory?”
Solomon got it right when he said: The LORD
hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in
their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the
beginning to the end.” Eccles. 3:11
On the radio call-in program “Cross Talk” a
good man called and said: “The
scientists of our day are correct on their calculation of “The Big Bang
Theory.” But he said their timing is off. Then he quoted where the Apostle Peter
said: “But the day of the Lord will come
as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also
and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:10 (Isn’t that great?)
The Holy Godhead was also the co-creators of
man. On the Sixth day of Creation GOD
said: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:26-27
You know what? When GOD said let us make man
in our image, He made Adam in the image wherein JESUS should come later. For
Paul said concerning the creation of Adam: “who is the figure of him that was
to come.” Romans 5:14-b
May GOD add His blessing. Amen!
CREATION, AND NOT THE
EVOLUTIONARY THEORY
April 19, 2010
Moses wrote: “In the beginning God created
the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
Why did God create the heaven and the
earth? John said of the creator: “… For
thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Revelation 4:11
And God made two great lights; the greater
light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the
stars also.” Genesis 1:16
Notice that Moses wasn’t long winded; he only
used five words to describe the vastness of space and its indwelling hosts for
He said: “He made the stars also.”
How did God create them? The Psalmist said: “Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are
created.” Psalms 104:30 That Spirit was His Son, and the Holy Spirit;
for God is one Spirit. Both the Son of
God and The Holy Spirit are understood to be co-creators of Heaven and earth
from what saith the scripture. Christ
Jesus was God’s Word and it was His Spirit that moved upon the face of the
waters and divided the waters from the waters. Genesis 1:2
The Hebrew writer said of the Son of God: “God,
who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers
by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he
hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who
being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and
upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged
our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrews
1:1-3
The Psalmist sums it up, by saying: “By
the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the
breath of his mouth.”
Psalms 33:6
Jesus Christ is His Word, and the breath of
God is the Holy Ghost. Remember? On the day of His Resurrection Jesus
breathed the Holy Ghost upon His Apostles? John commented by saying: “Then said Jesus to
them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I
you. And when he had said this, he breathed on
them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:” John 20:21-22 Therefore, the breath of God is The Holy
Ghost.
Listen to this you foolish that believe in the Evolution theory.
The Preacher said: “God hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
Again saith the preacher: “I beheld all the
work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun:
because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea
further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find
it.” Ecclesiastes 8:17
The Psalmist was right on target. He said: “The LORD bringeth the counsel of
the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.” Psalm 33:10
Paul told the Romans in Romans 1:18-23.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them;
for God hath shewed it unto them. For
the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and
Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God,
they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their
imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became
fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like
to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.”
I like what the Psalmist had to say on behalf
of the Creator. He insisted: “Let all
the earth fear the LORD: let all the
inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spake and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen
to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth forever,
the thoughts of his heart to all generations.” Psalms 33:8-11
May the God of all of creation be praised as
we enjoy the beautiful things that He has made.
Amen!
