The 7 Seals of Revelation

THE SEALS

 June 18, 2001

The seals, seven in number were handed to us in the form of seven metaphors and must be treated accordingly.

Webster tells us that a metaphor is: “A figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between and that format fits the seals.

A certain percentage of the Holy Scripture was written in the form of the metaphor, while the remaining Scriptures were not.  Thus it is left to the Biblical scholar to determine what was handed to us in a metaphoric form and what was not.

I suspect that the LORD GOD designed the numerical symbolic language and the metaphor in a manner where it is absolutely necessary to be a well read and well seasoned scholar.   As we approach this study you’ll see what is meant by that.  Therefore when filling in the analogy of the metaphor, it is essential that it comes from what saith the Holy Scripture.

Now let’s get started with this study.

Yea, we found the four beasts to be the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  It is they that cry Holy, Holy, Holy in the Revelation.  And it is they that bid us: “Come and see.” The LAMB opened the first four seals in the order they appear in the New Testament, respectively.   And therefore they hold the metaphors to the seals in the order they appear in your KJV Bible.   That is to say, Matthew is the first beast to bid: "Come and see" the LAMB opening the first seal, etc.

What are the seals?   Paul told us: “Before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. [24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. [26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:23-26

John said that in Heaven the question was asked: "Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?"   Revelation 5:2b

In response John said: "And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. [5] And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."  Revelation 5:4-5

And said John: “The LAMB took the book from the right hand of him that sat upon the throne."  Revelation 5:7

What were the seals? Paul explained, where he said:  “But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.” Galatians 3:23

AND I SAW WHEN THE LAMB OPENED ONE OF THE SEALS AND I HEARD AS IT WERE THE NOISE OF THUNDER

The Apostle John said:  “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” Revelation 6:1-2

Yea, John the Revelator gave us a clue by way of a metaphor that read: “And I heard, as it were the noise of thunder.” Revelation 6:1

John said of the opening, (I heard as it were the noise of thunder) which meant that it was either pretentious or something liken to thunder, and not thunder itself.

And the Good and Blessed HOLY SPIRIT directed me to where Matthew said: “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: [17] And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Matthew 3:16-17

Matthew gave the analogy where he said: “Some assumed that they heard thunder.” Thus, when GOD’S thunderous voice was heard it sounded as thunder and marked the opening of the first seal.  This was when JESUS launched His segment to free us from the strong hold that sin and the Law had against us.

Matthew continued after JESUS was baptized: "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil."  Matthew 4:1

The Revelator divulged the metaphor when he said: “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.   Revelation 6:2

The Psalmist described that triumphal ride when he wrote: “Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. [3] Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. [4] And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. [5] Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. [6] Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.”  Psalm 45:2-6

After JESUS’ battle with the Devil and Satan (which JESUS won,) Matthew said: "Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."  Matthew 4:11

Thus the LAMB of GOD had successfully opened the first seal and brought a triumphant end to His first campaigns on the road to defeating and destroying the devil.  Amen!

The LAMB OPENED THE SECOND SEAL: THERE WENT OUT ANOTHER HORSE THAT WAS RED

John said: “And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth."  Revelation 6:3-4

As formally stated Mark was the Second Beast to say “Come and see,” again John said via metaphor: “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth.”

And take peace from the earth he did.

Prior to the man with the withered hand (JESUS healed him on the Sabbath,) things were relatively quiet in and around Jerusalem.  But not any more; that miracle upset the Pharisees.  They said it was because Jesus healed the leper on the Sabbath.   Mark recorded the turmoil that followed.

Mark gave the analogy when he wrote: “The Pharisees went forth and took counsel with the Herodians against JESUS, how they might destroy him.”  Mark 3:6

The distraught and wicked Pharisees and Herodians were the wicked men in John’s reference where he described (metaphorically) as the red horse.   The mount on the red horse was the Devil.

The Devil spurned the spirits of those wicked men to violence that was not seen or heard, no not in or around Jerusalem for some time.

However from that day forward, there was no peace to be had in and about the city of David as long as JESUS was alive.   Therefore the rider on the red horse took away peace from the earth as saith John.

Luke was the third beast to say: “Come and see”.   Therefore we’ll be looking to him for the analogy of the third seal.

John continued his saga and said:  "And when the LAMB had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, “Come and see” and I beheld and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand."  Revelation 6:5   In this seal, the metaphor is: “behold and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand."  Revelation 6:5

THE LAMB OPENED THE THIRD SEAL

And holding true to the idea that the third beast of the series affords the analogy, we count on Luke for the analogy and he does it big time.

Yea, on the black horse with balances in hand was what Jerusalem did toward JESUS, for with the scales of justice in hand, and by falsifying the evidence, Israel and the Gentiles came together and forged the most horrible miscarriage of justice ever committed.

Now it was Luke that picked up on what followed and recorded that analogy.  He commenced by saying: “And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate. [2] And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. [3] And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

[13] And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, [14] Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

[18] And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

[19] (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.) [20] Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

[21] But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

[23] And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

[24] And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.”

Luke 23:1-3, 13-14, 18-21 and 23-24

THE LAMB OPENED THE FOURTH SEAL: BEHOLD A PALE HORSE

John being the fourth beast said: "And when the LAMB had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the forth beast say, “Come and see”.   And I looked and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death."
Revelation 6:7

The metaphor concerning the fourth seal was: “A pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed…”  Revelation 6:8

Now Peter and John were eye witnesses to the mock trial and crucifixion, Peter at a distance and John close up.  (John 18:15-16)

***According to Strong's concordance the word "pale" in the way that John used it is a greenish pale.   Such paleness was attributed to the flesh of JESUS due to the absence of blood.  “One of the soldiers pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.”   I suppose that accounted for the paleness of the rider on the pale horse.

The analogy was this: “JESUS was the mount on the pale horse and death had been pronounced against Him, therefore death and hell followed.

Meanwhile, Joseph begged the Body of JESUS and then he buried Him in his own walk-in sepulcher.  As Jesus had prophesied: “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Matthew 12:40

At His death His SOUL and SPIRIT descended into the heart of the earth wherein was Hell and Paradise at that time, wherein was the rich man in torments, and saw “Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Luke16:23b

Yea, immediately after JESUS succumbed to death His Spirit descended into Paradise, while His body rested in the tomb of Joseph. If you would have a problem with Jesus and His new convert descending into the heart of the earth, remember the spirit is not limited by physical objects.  Jesus appeared to His disciples by going through closed doors.

Please note:
In his Prophecy to Daniel, the Angel Gabriel prophesied that Messiah would: “Make a covenant with many for one week.” That prophetic week was a week of years as opposed to being seven days.

And as saith the Angel, Messiah was cut off in the midst of that week of years by the wicked hands of the Jews and Gentiles.
Yea, JESUS was cut off after the first three and half years of the week of years had come and gone with the remaining three and half years remaining of the Covenant of seven years.

Now as the math has shown, from the anointing at His Baptizing unto His redemptive work at the Cross totaled three and half years.  That enabled Him to succour His redeemed in that He Himself was tempted, in all things so he is able to succour them that are tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)

When translated into days, the three and a half years is a thousand two hundred and three score days. (Revelation 12:6 and other places in the Bible)  The three and a half years is also forty two months, which we see in Revelation 13:5.

THE LAMB OPENED THE FIFTH SEAL

November 15, 2001

Now since the fourth beast, the Apostle John closed out the fourth seal with: “Death and Hell followed.”  Revelation 6:7-8

We begin where JESUS and His new convert descended into the heart of the earth wherein Paradise and Hell were before the Resurrection, else Peter wouldn’t have quoted David as saying to the Heavenly Father: “Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.”  Acts 2:27

Yea, the body of JESUS did not see corruption as did the body of Lazarus because JESUS was in the grave three days and Lazarus was in the grave four days.

Zechariah prophesied that during JESUS’ visit in Paradise:  “And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” Zechariah 13:6

Then as JOHN continued, he said:
“And I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” Revelation 6:7-8

As touching on the martyrs the Revelator said:  “And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Revelation 6:11

If I understand it right, Hell and Paradise was a place where the dead, both saint and sinner were kept there from Adam to JESUS.  The redeemed were kept in Paradise until JESUS paid their sin debt.

Although GOD saved repenting sinners from the foundation of the world making them clean inwardly, albeit the sins of their flesh kept Heaven’s door shut against them.  GOD gave them the Old Testament that served to purify them outwardly that they could minister to and for Him.  However said the Apostle: “The blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:” Hebrews 9:13

Yet said he of the blood of the Old Testament: “It was not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.” Hebrews 10:4

However that process did hide the sins of the flesh from the pure eyes of JEHOVAH GOD while it silenced the conscience of the comer.

Ah but said the ALMIGHTY: “I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.” Zechariah 3:9-b  And so He did.  The Apostle said of JESUS CHRIST: “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;” Colossians 2:14

For those who are skeptic and believe that JESUS went directly to Heaven instead of descending into Paradise, taking His newborn with Him, remember this.  On the third day of His Resurrection Jesus saith unto Mary, “Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” John 20:17

And earlier He told some: “No man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” John 3:13

Now the New Testament authors followed the body of JESUS rather than His Spirit’s descent into the heart of the earth and rightly so for the Apostle said: “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.” Hebrews 2:14 (And that makes sense, doesn’t it?)

Now its obvious that JESUS and His new convert descended into Paradise on the evening of the Crucifixion: And while He was there He visited Hell also for the Spirit of CHRIST in David  prophesied : “For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 16:10

Paul put a lot of emphasis on what JESUS said of His descent.  He said: “(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?)” Ephesians 4:9  You know what?   In the heart of the earth was the place where the rich man seeth Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom, as saith Luke 16:23.

There also was the prophet Samuel after his death.  Here I’ve added more proof that Paradise and Hell were down under during the Old Testament.

Just a few Choice verses from 1 Samuel 28: 7-19
[7] Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.
[8] And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

[11] Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.
[12] And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul.

[14] And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
[15] And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
[16] Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
[17] And the Lord hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the Lord hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:
[18] Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the Lord, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day.
[19] Moreover the Lord will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the Lord also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.

Samuel’s prophesy came true soon after.  For it was recorded: “So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.”  1 Samuel 31:6

More proof that hell and paradise were in the heart of the earth.  The Psalmist said:
[8] My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
[9] But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. Psalm 63:8-9

That is where the rich man opened his eyes.

Then there is where Isaiah said:  “Sing, O ye heavens; for the Lord hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.”  Isaiah 44:23

That is the place where JESUS took His new convert.

Remember Paul said: (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?) Ephesians 4:9

This is where Jesus spent His first three days after He was crucified.

Yea, JESUS left Paradise and Hell and returned to Jerusalem where His body rested and He entered back into it, and GOD raised Him from the dead, thus the Resurrection. Amen!

After the Resurrection, JESUS CHRIST returned to Heaven with His shed blood.  And the Apostle made note of that entry when he said:  “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Hebrews 9:12

Following that, JESUS returned to Paradise and Hell: “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)”

Ephesians 4:8-10

AND I BEHELD UNTIL THE LAMB OPENED THE SIXTH SEAL

As touching on the sixth seal, John the Revelator said: “And I beheld until he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.” Revelation 6:12

The metaphor of the Sixth Seal was on this wise.  John said: “And I beheld until he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood”.

The Analogy is where John had previously spoken of an earthquake.  A quake of a greater magnitude, albeit it was supernatural as opposed to being geographical.
For he said: “And there were voices, and thunders, and lightings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.” Revelation 16:18

Yea, that quaking shook the foundation of Israel to the very core.   It rent and ran concurrently with the geological quake.  In fact the geological quake was an omen as to what was happening in their spiritual realm.   And to say the least, it was devastating to Israel.  Yea, it turned the kingdom of Israel upside down, so to speak.

Do you remember while in route to Canaan, the Lord warned Israel: “That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.” Leviticus 18:28

Well, Israel did defile the land many times over, but when they killed the SON of GOD the cup of iniquity was made to overflow; and therefore the quaking of the land was a testimonial to what was taking place in the Spiritual world.

Israel’s predecessors were the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites and the Jebusites.  They were spued out of the land that GOD called: “The land of milk and honey.” Exodus 13:5

Yea, the spewing out included the whole of Israel, from the hewer of their wood and the carrier of the water, to Caiaphas the High priest.

For the LORD had earlier told Ezekiel: "Say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked."
Ezekiel 21:3

Isaiah prophesied doom for Israel’s sinners when he wrote: “Behold the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.”  Isaiah 24:19

Israel's sinners were left on the outside with stipulation that: "They also, “If they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for GOD is able to graft them in again." Romans 11:23

JESUS challenged the small remnant with: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32

He baptized them back into the Kingdom on the day of Pentecost.

Though they were few in number, yet they were all righteous and they were powerful through the HOLY GHOST.

In so much: “The rulers of the city, cried against them, saying “These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;”   Acts 17:6

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” Revelation 6:12-14

"AND THE SUN BECAME BLACK AS SACKCLOTH OF HAIR."

On the day of Pentecost, Peter picked up on Joel’s prophecy that said:  “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come”.   Acts 2:20

First we’ll deal with, the metaphor: “The Sun shall be turned into darkness”.

And now the analogy where David said: “The Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psalms 84:11

Since the LORD GOD is represented as the sun, therefore, during the time JESUS trod the streets of Jerusalem it was high noon.  Amen!

In his prophecy, he portrayed JESUS CHRIST and His Church as the Sun and the Moon.

Depending on who was viewing the two great lights, determined what they saw.

Although it was high noon when JESUS CHRIST walked among Israel on the streets of Jerusalem, only a few recognized Him as being their Messiah.

I suppose it was they that said away with Him: “Crucify Him” that John compared their view to as one looking through sackcloth of hair, which is to say, burlap or mohair.

Isaiah had said of Israel’s failing eyesight: “Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us. We wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.”  Isaiah 59:9-10

And Paul questioned: “What then?   Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.” Romans 11:7

According to the Scripture when GOD looks at the Church He sees the blood to the fulfillment to: “The moon became as blood.”

John said: "JESUS loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood." Revelation 1:5b

And the LORD GOD told Israel: "When I see the blood I will pass over you." Exodus 12:13b

AND THE STARS OF HEAVEN FELL UPON THE EARTH

John said: "And the stars of heaven fell upon the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind."
Revelation 6:13

The LORD GOD told Abraham: “I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven;” Genesis 26:4-a

In light of all the evil that befell the beloved Israel during the time of the reformation, it’s not hard to believe that it was the seed of Abraham that fell from Heaven.  And especially we can see that the Heaven from which they fell was the Kingdom of Heaven.

AND WHEN THE LAMB OPENED THE SEVENTH SEAL

October 15, 2008

John the Revelator continued: “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”
Revelation 8:1

The silence in heaven for the space of about half an hour was more than likely based on the time it took Aaron, the high priest to perform the annual Atonement.  He entered into the most Holy place and completed his sacrificial duty of sprinkling the blood on the mercy seat.

The reason for the silence in heaven for about the space of half an hour was that there was no man in heaven, as JESUS explained: “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”  John 3:13

After the redemptive work of JESUS was completed and accepted by the LORD GOD of Heaven then Heaven’s door was no longer closed.

And said the Revelator: “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”  Revelation 4:1

Then after JESUS took care of the sin issue He returned to Paradise and Hell and led the spirits of the occupants to the cemeteries where they were many, said the prophecy, to be united with their bodies.  And JESUS raised them from the dead.

Matthew said of that exciting event: “The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection.”  Matthew 27:52-53

Daniel prophesied of that glorious event, when he said:  “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. [3] And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:1-3

Paul described that JESUS removed the Saints from Paradise and the lost from Hell, when he said:  “When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” Ephesians 4:8

I say with the Apostle: “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;” Hebrews 8:1

And we are “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

And in agreement we say: “For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;” Hebrews 7:26

“But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;”  Hebrews 9:11

And bestowing honor and glory and praise to Him that is worthy, the Apostle said: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”  Hebrews 12:2
